Retaining wall New bike path

South Tyler Avenue in Pinedale is temporarily closed as construction crews work on building a new bike path extending from the east side of Boyd Skinner Park along Tyler Avenue to south Pinedale. That portion of Tyler Avenue is closed while construction is ongoing. Traffic can detour by taking Madison Avenue to get around. Heavy equipment is currently installing pilings for a retaining wall necessary to extend the road right-of-way next to Pine Creek.

A portion of Pine Creek has been temporarily diverted to accommodate the new construction. The Town of Pinedale has coordinated with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department regarding the diversion to minimize impacts to fish within
the portion of the channel that has been diverted. The channel will be restored as soon as possible. The other two branches of Pine Creek in the area remain fully active.

Teletractors, Inc. of Pinedale is the lead contractor on the construction work. The project is expected to be completed by around the end of May.
