White Pine Junior Snowsports Club and the Sublette County Ski and Snowboard Association (SCSSA) are hosting the 2022 Sunny Korfanta Ski Race on Saturday, March 13th at White Pine Ski Area. This is a fun race for all abilities, beginner to expert. Cost to enter is $5 (lift tickets sold separately.)

The event honors one of Pinedale’s most notable skiers, Albert "Sunny" Korfanta. His contributions and pioneering spirit is celebrated annually at this event as he was instrumental in opening the ski hill in 1940.

Skiers and boarders of all ages are welcome. Costumes are encouraged.

Tentative Schedule:
8:30am - 12pm: Registration/bib pickup in the lodge
9:00am: Lifts Open to Public
12:30pm: Course Inspection
1:00pm: Start
3:00pm: Awards (or 30 min after completion of race) outside at the base.

Age categories: U5, U8, U10, U12, U14, HS (15-18), Adult (19+), >60
