The latest graphs for COVID-19 show numbers of cases are dropping dramatically across the state. Teton County, which saw a huge spike in January, is also seeing cases declining. Hospitalizations with COVID-19 rose in early January, then started declining again by January 31st.

There have been a total of 151,803 confirmed and probable cases in Wyoming and 1,667 deaths due to the virus. There have been 22,697 cases of COVID-19 in vaccinated individuals. Wyoming Department of Health reports a total of 933 laboratory confirmed cases of the Omicron variant detected in the state, the bulk of which are in Albany County. Sublette County has 6 and Teton County has 30. There still is plenty of Delta variant floating around, with 7.761 detected to date.

Numbers still show that 98% of people who have caught the disease in Wyoming have recovered from it.

To date, two-years into the pandemic, Wyoming has still had zero deaths in anyone age 18 and under due to COVID-19, with 20,689 youth cases documented.
