COVID Update
The Wyoming Department of Health announced more deaths of Sublette County residents this week. Sublette County Public Health sends their heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. WDH reported 30 new COVID-19 cases in Sublette County in the past week. There are currently 8 active cases in Sublette County, with 1,355 recoveries and 20 deaths, for a total of 1,383 cases since the pandemic began.

Sublette County moved down to the Light Green or Low Transmission Zone for community spread this week reflecting those lower cases, most of the state remains in the Red or High Transmission Zone (source: https://health.wyo.gov/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/County-Metrics-November-3-2021.pdf)

Let’s keep the meter here by building healthy immune systems, getting vaccinated, and practicing all of our basic recommendations for distancing, masking, and increased hand hygiene.

Flu & COVID-19 Vaccines
As of November 1, 2021--3,013 people have been fully vaccinated in Sublette County, which means that 30.65% of our population has been vaccinated.

1,068 booster or primary-series doses of vaccine for COVID-19 were administered in Sublette County since October 1, 2021. Public Health has administered 902 doses of flu vaccine since the beginning of October. Thank you for coming to our big drive-thru vaccine events last month!

Public Health continues to offer weekly COVID & flu vaccination clinics. Please note that we are moving back to our Public Health Office for clinics--no more drive-thrus scheduled at this time. Registration is requested, but walk-ins are welcome on these clinic days. To sign-up, please call Public Health at 307-367-2157 to schedule an appointment.

Every Tuesday at the Public Health Office in the Marbleton Senior Center
• 11 to 4 pm for flu and COVID vaccinations/boosters.

Every Thursday at the Public Health Office in Pinedale
• 11 to 5 pm for flu and COVID vaccinations/boosters--next clinic November 18th.
• Closed Thursday, November 11th – Veterans Day.
• Closed Thursday, November 25th – Thanksgiving.
• Please note that we are moving back to our Public Health Offices for clinics--no more drive-thrus scheduled at this time!

For COVID boosters, Public Health will charge your insurance company a $20 administration fee--there is no charge for those underinsured or uninsured. Please bring your COVID vaccine card and completed vaccine consent form with you. We ask that you wear a mask in our offices for your appointment.

Kids’ Pfizer Vaccine Clinics
On November 4, 2021, the FDA granted emergency approval to Pfizer for the administration of the vaccine in 5-to-11-year-olds. Sublette County Public Health will begin administering Pfizer vaccine for kids next week. Call 307-367-2157 to schedule your child’s COVID vaccine appointment or for more information.
