A crash near mile marker 1 of Wyoming Highway 353 resulted in the death of one man on Wednesday evening, August 18th. A report from the Wyoming Highway Patrol stated a GMC Sierra pickup was eastbound on the highway when it exited the south side of the roadway and struck a delineator post. The driver overcorrected the pickup back towards the roadway and accelerated the vehicle, causing hard spinning of the rear tires. The pickup traveled back onto the roadway and began to rotate sideways striking another delineator post. The pickup crossed both lanes of travel and exited off the north side of the roadway. The pickup tripped and rolled multiple times coming to rest on the roof. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and succumbed to his injuries. The driver has been identified as 39-year old Wyoming resident Matthew Letsinger.
