Sublette County Rural Health Care District’s (SCRHC) new "employees" were delivered!

The SCRHCD has just received two germ killing robots that will assist our team disinfect our current facilities and Covid containers (once they are fully operational). Tru-D Smart UVC robots use UVC lights instead of chemicals to "sweep" a room and destroy up to 99.9% of the bacteria and spores in a room after a patient has left. Recent company studies show that its patented technology is effective for inactivation of the SARS-CoV-2 on nonporous surfaces. SARS-CoV-2 is the virus that causes the novel coronavirus or COVID-19.

Tru-D claims its robots uniquely cover an entire room at a time—360 degrees; meaning staff will not have to relocate a robot to another area of the same room to clean it, and it will take on average 15-20 minutes to run a full cleaning cycle. On top of our rigorous cleaning schedule the addition of these robots will significantly reduce the possibility of a Covid-19 exposure to our staff and community members.

These robots were paid for by the State of Wyoming CARES Act funding.
