July 15 is 2020 WyoGives Day

Wednesday, July 15, 2020, is WyoGives Day. WyoGives is a 24-hour day of online giving designed to bring the state together as one community to raise money and awareness for Wyoming's nonprofits. 2020 WyoGives will take place on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 from midnight to 11:59 PM. This 24-hour day of online giving is especially timely as most organizations have had to cancel in-person events and programs that provide financial support.
WyoGives is an initiative of the Wyoming Nonprofit Network, the state association for nonprofits. Their mission is to represent the collective voice of the Wyoming charitable nonprofit sector and bring best practices, resources and support to the nonprofit community.
Donors visit www.WyoGives.org and use the search function to either browse for organizations of interest or find a specific organization to make a donation. Donors can also connect to the site with a direct link sent to them via email or shared on social media.
In the Pinedale area, Friends of PAC (Pinedale Aquatic Center) is participating in WyoGives Day. Friends of PAC exists to help the Pinedale Aquatic Center, a premier recreation facility located in Pinedale, Wyoming. Since its opening in 2008 the PAC has become one of the county's major assets, encouraging year-round fitness and contributing to the livability of the area. Usage has continued to increase as traditional funding sources have declined. Friends of PAC is committed to identifying new ways to support the PAC's important role in community health and development. All organizations participating in WyoGives have a match from the Ellbogen Foundation. Selected nonprofits have a match from Wells Fargo. These matches apply to online donations only through the WyoGives platform. Donations will be matched dollar for dollar up to the maximum amount of the match.
WyoGives.org/GiveGab retains a 2.5% platform fee from all donations. Credit Card processing fees are an additional 2.2% + $0.30 for all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). Plaid/ACH payment is a $3.00 flat fee ($100 minimum donation).
