Spring in the Valley

The ice is off most of the rivers, or nearly complete. The New Fork Valley is coming back to life as winter recedes. The sound of migrating birds, ducks and geese are everywhere and an occasional sandhill call, as the large numbers have not yet arrived. The New Fork and East Fork Rivers are beautiful this time of the year lined with thick icy banks.
