Welcome to Rendezvous!

"I’d like to make a special request that the bug juice in the helicopter flyovers be changed to Sasspirilla flavor." – Don Cooper –

"We just came from Riverton. It was a hot 105 degrees." – Don Birch –

"I'm 4 years old and I've been in the pageant for 4 years. I like hamburgers and hotdogs and ridin' horses, and my Papa is one of the Chiefs." - Tinley Kern -

"We are 11 bikers from Germany and Switzerland. We all rented Harley-Davidsons in Denver and are making a big loop thru here, to Yellowstone and back to Denver." – Peter Stampfer –

"My husband and eight of his lady friends make my stuff." – Mimi –

"We are stocking up on egg rolls for a busy Rendezvous."- Robert Liu –

"We make coffee with whole beans. After boiling them 2 or 3 times, it gets real good. When we are done, we scatter them in the woods so they look like deer turds." – Nabor –

"Shrub, is Mountain Man liquor. We get some juice of native fruit, add some vinegar, and let it ferment. Then we boil it down, take the pulp out and add some water. We frequently add rum." – Missouri Jim –

"The Restoring Order Porter is ready." – Doc Whitted –

"We made a lot of shirts for the Rendezvous Committee. " – Laurel Christensen –

"This here is a coyote quiver. It’s rare due to it’s feet still being on." - John –

"People are really digging the Jade because it is a local rock." - Isabel –

"Wampum was a shell that was used as money. Wampum means money." - Mrs. Birch –

"Cooper rifles shoot tight." – Jack Rice –

"I brain tan my hides. Brain tanned is way softer than commercial." – Stamper –

"We go thru 200 pounds of onions on our gyros and smoked sausages." – Cory Stockton –

"We’ve been roasting corn for three generations. That old 1925 Chev. truck was hauling hogs in the 30’s, and became a corn roaster in the 40’s, and is still a corn roaster." - Steve Montandon –

"People like the skunk hats." – Luke -

"Happy 80th Birthday, Green River Rendezvous!" – Carmen Hittle -
