The snow is melting and areas are opening up for spring hiking in the lower country, with the reward of wildflowers starting to bloom. The high mountain country still has a lot of snow that has yet to melt. Green River Lakes, Elkhart Park, and Big Sandy roads are still inaccessible due to snow.
