An extensive ground and air search today (Tuesday, Nov. 20) yielded no results in the search for a missing aircraft. Local pilots, Civil Air Patrol and Teton County’s SAR helicopter spent Tuesday in the area of last know radar contact with the Cessna 182 reported missing Saturday afternoon. Although weather and flight conditions improved significantly, the ground search continues to be difficult with significant snow and rugged country. Ground search operations were conducted today by Tip Top Search and Rescue and Lincoln County Search and Rescue. Search and Rescue teams and air assets plan on continuing the search Wednesday, weather permitting.
