NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SHORT-TERM WEATHER STATEMENT UPPER GREEN RIVER BASIN-UPPER GREEN RIVER BASIN FOOTHILLS-INCLUDING THE CITIES OF BIG PINEY, FARSON, PINEDALE, 6/8/11, 1:00PM:

Thunderstorms continue to move deeper into the Upper Green River Basin Wednesday afternoon. Fast-moving storms are noted northwest of Big Piney and are moving northeast at 25 mph. These storms have been producing frequent lightning as they progress. Showers and thunderstorms will remain present through much of the afternoon and into the evening hours. Those enjoying outdoor activities are encouraged to find a sturdy indoor shelter if storms approach.
