The Nordic events of the 2010 Wyoming Senior Winter Games will be held in Surveyor Park at White Pine on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, February 12-14. Registration continues at the Pinedale Aquatic Center on Friday and Saturday mornings at 8:00 A.M.

The 2.5K and 5K Nordic Classic begins at noon on Friday, followed by the Alpine-Nordic-Snowshoe Relay and Biathlon events at 1:30 and 2:30 P.M. The 2.5K and 5K Nordic Freestyle is at noon on Saturday with the 5K Mixed Relay following at 1:30 P.M. Marginal snow conditions will restrict this year’s races to the meadow and Moose Ridge.

The 3rd annual White Pine Nordic Open Age Ski Race will start at 1:30 P.M. on Sunday. Due to thin snow cover, the Tree Loop cannot be properly groomed for racing. This race will also be restricted to the meadow and Moose Ridge at Surveyor Park and the distance may be reduced from 15K to 10K. Kids Nordic races follow at 3:00 P.M.
