No more reminder postcards

Wyoming Secretary of State Max Maxfield has sent out notices to Wyoming businesses informing them that his office will no longer be mailing out paper notice reminders to file annual business reports. The reason given is that businesses are now able to file their annual reports online. The Secretary of State tells businesses in order to receive future courtesy filing reminders, they must provide his office with their e-mail address. Businesses are also told to remember to notify the Secretary of State office if their e-mail address changes later on.

The postcard reads:

Business Annual Report Reminder
What’s your e-mail address?
Now that you are able to file your annual report online, we will be sending reminders by e-mail. This is the last paper notice you will receive. For future courtesy filing reminders, provide us with your e-mail address by sending it to: business@state.wy.us

Put the word "Reminder" in the subject line. (Don’t forget, if your e-mail address changes later on notify us.
