The Sublette County Commission now has an Internet blog.
Currently on the blog are informational news items about issues discussed at the last few county commission meetings; profiles of current commissioners and descriptions of the duties of county government; and information about open government laws. Stay tuned to the site as more information will be added on a regular basis, and we’ll soon be loading meeting minutes, public notices and other important documents to the blog.
The blog will actually be a short-term home for news from the Sublette County Commission, while an entirely new county government website is being created, a process anticipated to occur within the next few months.
The Sublette County Commission hopes that the public will use this blog and website as a place for up-to-date information on county commission activities, and as the place to come when seeking out information about county departments. Just follow the links on the right side of the commission news page to see existing webpages for various departments. Many of these pages will be getting a new look in the coming months as well.
The commission has hired writer Cat Urbigkit to write content for the site, and Sue Sommers of Sommers Studio for design and layout of the pages.
