US 191/189 Reopened
Gates opened at Daniel Jct & Jackson; Avalanche Warning issued

Update Thursday, February 7, 10:50 PM: WYDOT has reopened US 191/189 between Daniel and Hoback Junction. The gates have been reopened. Snowplows have been working the road to clear the lanes of travel.
Other road closures exits around the area. Travelers are strongly urged to check the WYDOT road updates for the current status of any road they plan to travel.
Avalanche Warning
February 7, 2008: The Bridger-Teton National Forest Avalanche Center has issued a special Avalanche Advisory for the mountainous area of Teton, Lincoln and western Sublette Counties. Strong winds and new snow have combined to create dangerous unstable conditions on a variety of aspects at all elevations. Large avalanches have impacted the highways in the Snake River Canyon and on Teton Pass. Travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended.
