Last minute lodging for Rendezvous
Cabins still available at area guest ranches
July 2, 2006
If you didn’t heed the advice we’ve been giving for months about making your lodging reservations in advance for Rendezvous this week, you will find yourself scrambling to find a place to stay in Pinedale.
As of Sunday, June 2, most of the motels are pretty full and might have a room or two open, depending on the day you want to spend the night. Friday and Saturday nights, June 7 & 8, are pretty well booked for the motels in town. There still is lodging available for Wednesday and Thursday, July 5-6, and for Sunday on, depending on the motel. There is always the chance for last-minute cancellations, so it is still worth a call in to them to check if you are desperate. Motels
For those willing to stay out of town and drive in for the day, there are still plenty of options available to stay at several of our area guest ranches and lodges. You’ll need to plan a bit for the extra drive to get into town, but these places are each very unique and each have their own distinct characters and flavors. Most are located either near a stream or a lake and offer cabin lodging and meals.
Hidden Heart Ranch (www.hiddenheartranch.com), Green River Guest Ranch (www.grguestranch.com) and Boulder Lake Lodge (www.boulderlake.com) all said they still have some cabins available for Rendezvous Days, including Friday and Saturday! (Info as of today, Sunday.) The historic DC Bar Guest Ranch, located in the Upper Green on the way to Green River Lakes, also has availabilities over Rendezvous Days, including on Friday, www.bwo.com. We strongly recommend that you CALL NOW to make your reservation and don’t wait until you get into town. More Guest Ranches
