Another storm will hit Monday
January 29, 2006

Another major snowstorm will hit western Wyoming late Sunday night through late Monday night, according to the National Weather Service out of Riverton. Snow is expected to increase Sunday night across western Wyoming. Heavy snowfall and gusty southwest winds will be common Monday into Monday night, tapering off by Tuesday morning.

Boulder to Pinedale could get from 8-12 inches of snow, with up to 18 inches of snow possible in areas near Bondurant. Some areas of the mountains could get up to 30 inches of new snowfall. Areas further south in Sweetwater County are predicted to get 2-4 inches of snow from this latest system. The storm is expected to impact western and central Wyoming, creating hazardous winter driving conditions for travelers.
