Dig It! Mountain Bluebirds
by Sage and Snow Garden Club
February 8, 2008
During the cold, windy days of winter we can still remember, and look forward to, the days when we inhabit the same territory as the mountain bluebird. They spend spring and summer in Rocky Mountain states, Canada and Alaska and migrate south in fall toward Mexico. They are fairly easy to attract if you have the right conditions. The Winter 2008 issue of Barnyards & Backyards contains a wonderful article entitled, "Create homes so bluebirds come your way". This publication is perfect for the small acreage landowner, new landowner or backyard and is published by the University of Wyoming Extension Service. For more information, go to http://barnyardstobackyards.com/ or 307-766-2115.
If you would like a copy of the article, please contact the Sage and Snow Garden Club at Box 2280, Pinedale, WY, 82941 or email@example.com. The Garden Club meets at noon on the second Tuesday of each month in the Pinedale Library. The next meeting will be February 12, 2008.
