2026 10th Anniversary Western Art & Wine Auction July 9

The Museum of the Mountain Man in Pinedale will host their 10th Anniversary Western Art & Wine Auction on Thursday, July 9, 2026. This event includes a beautiful selection of western artwork for sale at a live auction. The annual Western Art & Wine Auction is a signature fundraiser benefiting the Museum of the Mountain Man and the Sublette County Historical Society. There will be free food and drinks available for attendees.
Since its founding in 2017, the Western Art & Wine Auction has brought together artists, businesses, collectors, and supporters to help preserve and share the history of the Rocky Mountain fur trade and the American West. Thanks to the generosity of donors and bidders, the auction has raised vital support for Museum exhibits, educational programs, publications, collections care, and special projects.
This year, featured entertainment before the live auction is cowboy poet and humorist Andy Nelson. Andy brings the history, heritage, and humor of cowboy culture to life through traditional poetry, rhyme and meter, and the ever-popular art of storytelling. Enjoy food, drinks, and plenty of laughter as Andy entertains guests before the bidding begins.
This event also includes an online silent auction. There are a couple of changes to the silent auction from years past. The silent auction is conducted online only. Due to changes in software being used, people who have participated in the past will need to register again and create a new account to be in the new system and be able to bid. Register here:

Registration will also make attendees eligible to participate in the live auction.
Bidding is open now for the silent auction. The silent auction will close at 8:00 p.m. on July 9, 2026. Silent Auction items will also be available for viewing in person during the Live Auction event.
