Town of Pinedale update
Snow piles, water bleeding, lead testing
by Town of Pinedale
February 7, 2017
As you may have noticed, the Town has been removing snow from commercial parking areas, along Pine Street and some intersections north and south of Pine. If you have children that enjoy playing in or on the piled snow, we ask that you ensure they are not tunneling. Tunneling into the piles is unsafe.
In addition, the Town would like to remind everyone to keep their bleeders running and that the home owner is responsible for the service line that runs from the home all the way to the water main. A bleeder can help the service line keep from freezing. If you are curious as to how much you are bleeding, please feel free to contact Town Hall. We are able to tell you your usage and can give you an idea of how much water is being bled, if no other water was being used at the time of the reading.
The Town of Pinedale is scheduling the lead tests for residents that signed up for a free lead test. Please remember, if you gave the Town an email address, check your email including the Spam folder. The Town has set a testing schedule with available slots between February 13 and March 11. Due to limited personnel time and budget, the tests will only be scheduled during the arranged testing schedule. The time slots available for testing are filled on a first come, first served basis. Please call Town Hall at 307-367-4136 to schedule your free lead test or to check water bleeding usage. More information about the free lead test can be found at www.townofpinedale.us.
