Sublette County School Dist #1:
As a part of the investigation into the small cluster of gastrointestinal illness involving our students, Sublette Public Health has requested the names and parent contact information of our students who became ill. SCSD 1 has complied with this request. Parents of ill students should be aware that they may receive a phone call from Sublette Public Health or the Wyoming Department of Health regarding this issue. The information released to Sublette Public Health is covered under HIPPA laws and is confidential.
Sublette County School Dist #1 posted the following statement on their Facebook page on Wednesday evening, May 21:
Today at lunch, the High School Booster Club provided lunch for many of our high school students. Sometime thereafter, and throughout the remainder of the afternoon, some of our students became ill. The District has notified the Public Health Office and they are conducting a general investigation of the foods that were provided in an effort to identify the source of the problem. SCSD 1 apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused. We will post further information as it becomes available.
