PFAC's Black Tie & Blues May 3rd
With Kentucky Derby Format; tickets on sale now
by Pinedale Fine Arts Council
April 24, 2014
Black Tie and Blues has always been the Pinedale Fine Arts Council annual fundraiser, but this year we are adding a twist. On May 3rd at 3:30pm Black Tie and Blues will be going to the races; to the Kentucky Derby specifically. We will hold the event at the Boulder Community Center aka the Boulder Downs.
In addition to live music, food, and drinks, we will be holding our own version of the Kentucky Derby with a stick horse obstacle course race. Each horse will have a team of three people: a jockey, an owner, and a trainer. Roger Goodman will be the rodeo announcer for our race. We expect this event to be laugh out loud funny and great entertainment for the whole community.
Our horse teams are being sponsored by: Burney and Company, 1st Bank, Obo’s Market and Deli, the Boulder Store (with DDLH Welding), Puncher Power (with Nancy Espencheid & Betty Fear), and Pinedale Dental. They will each have a horse in the race on May 3rd. May the best team win!
Tickets on sale now and are $40 per person. They can be purchased online at www.pinedalefinearts.com at both Office Outlets (Pinedale & Big Piney) or at the PFAC office in Pinedale.
All the money goes to support educational arts programming in both Sublette County school districts.
