Pinedale residents experienced a power outage Monday night, April 4th. For some residents, the outage was just a flux around 11:30PM and another brief loss of power around 12:30AM. Other residents in Pinedale had a more extended and continuous loss of power that lasted from 11:30PM Monday night until approximately 12:35AM Tuesday morning.
According to Rocky Mountain Power spokesman David Eskelsen, External Communications: "The outage was caused by a vehicle accident when a car hit a pole on Highway 191 and Ehman Lane. The outage began at 11:37 p.m. Monday; restored and hour later, at 12:38 a.m. Customers affected were 1,777 in the Pinedale area. Regarding the outage you mentioned in Daniel, our local operations folks say there was not an extended service interruption that night in Daniel, although they may have experienced a momentary interruption on the local transmission system from the vehicle accident."
Daniel: "Seemed to start about 1:30 at our house in Daniel and last less than half an hour."
