Saved By The Bell

About 7:30 am on Sunday morning (Nov. 28) as usual I got in my car with my 4 dogs to go out to the field for a run. Lately there has been a Bull Moose in our neighborhood, so I look around as I drive. I don't see him. I get to the park, let the dogs out, look around and see no moose.
As I am about 1/8 mile into the walk there he is... he is by the Ritchel's house. I call the dogs quietly to come to my side and think he doesn't notice... I am wrong. He looks up, turns and starts towards me.
Panic sets in, but I start to walk fast and yell for help. He is coming closer and I am really scared, but still yelling at the top of my lungs for help. No one is hearing me, and I am visualizing the worst.
My dogs are barking at him, trying to keep him at bay, but that doesn't seem to help. In fact, I think he doesn't even care about my dogs, itís me he is heading towards...
Still yelling, out of nowhere comes Bell... Tom Peter's wonderful big St Bernard. Bell has come to my rescue. She charges that Bull Moose and with a turn he runs off... Bell stands her ground for a moment, watches him head towards the golf course, and then she turns and heads back to her house.
What a dog!!! Bell saved me! I have always had a soft spot for Bell since she was a pup, but now she is my hero!!! Bell, thanks for coming to my rescue.
