The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Pinedale and Rock Springs Field Offices are seeking comments on the proposed Condensate Pipeline Project Environmental Assessment (EA) through Sept. 8.
The project is for the construction and operation of a new 54.5-mile long, 6-inch condensate pipeline in Sublette and Lincoln counties.
The proposed project would add infrastructure to carry condensate from the Pinedale Anticline area to an existing terminal just south of LaBarge. From the Gobbler’s Knob area of the Pinedale Anticline to southwest of the Jonah Field, the pipeline would be located in corridors designated by the Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for the Pinedale Anticline Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Project for approximately 22 miles. The remaining length of the pipeline would parallel the existing Bridger 230 kV power line and other existing infrastructure. Construction is anticipated to begin in the spring of 2011 and be completed by fall 2011.
An EA has been prepared to analyze the impacts of the proposed project. The EA may be viewed online at: http://www.blm.gov/wy/st/en/info/NEPA/pfodocs/Ultra.html
A printed copy or CD of the EA can be obtained at the Pinedale Field Office, 1625 W. Pine St., Pinedale, or the Rock Springs Field Office, 280 Highway 191 N., Rock Springs.
Written comments can be submitted to: BLM Pinedale Field Office, P.O. Box 768, Pinedale, WY 82941; Fax: 307-367-5329; or email: email@example.com
