Mountain Man Back Country Horsemen to meet April 5th
March 30, 2010
Mountain Man Back Country Horsemen will meet on Monday, April 5th at 5:30 p.m. at the Pinedale BLM building, 1625 W. Pine St. An introduction to the "Leave No Trace" (LNT) program will be covered. LNT is a program designed to educate and encourage participation by horsemen and the general public in the wise and sustaining use of back country resources. Summer projects and fun rides will also be scheduled at this meeting.
The purpose of MMBCH is to perpetuate the common sense use and enjoyment of horses in Wyoming’s back country and wilderness areas. They work to ensure that public lands remain open to recreational stock use and assist various federal, state and private agencies in their maintenance and management of such resources. The group also goes on group horse rides for their own enjoyment. All members, as well as anyone interested in joining or finding out more about the organization are encouraged to attend this meeting.
