Pinedale students can ‘opt out’ of President Obama’s message on Sept. 8th
September 4, 2009

Sublette County School District #1 released the following statement from Superintendent Doris Woodbury concerning President Obama’s speech to students on September 8, 2009:

"Sublette County School District #1 students may view the speech based on teacher lesson plans and grade appropriateness. No teacher is required to air the program. Parents may opt out of having their child watch the presentation by writing a note. The middle school students are at lunch during the presentation and will discuss the speech the next day at base camp."
