Both vehicles then collided head-on in the southbound lane. After impact both vehicles went off the west side of the roadway coming to rest in the barrow pit. The flatbed trailer went off the roadway on the east side. Elenga was transported by ground ambulance to Pinedale Medical Clinic in Pinedale.
