Thunderstorms and more Snow
Mixed bag of weather typical for March
March 20, 2009

The National Weather Services advises that isolated thunderstorms with small hail and gusty winds are possible across far western Wyoming Friday afternoon, spreading into the far south Friday evening.

A potent Pacific storm system is expected to move into western Wyoming on Sunday with potentially significant snowfall in the western mountains. The precipitation is expected to spread east of the Continental Divide Sunday night and Monday. Some of the lower elevation precipitation will start as rain, but should change to snow as colder air moves in through the day Monday and through Monday evening. There is potential for a significant upslope snow event across central Wyoming Monday and Monday night.
