Cattlemen’s Banquet Feb. 28th
February 9, 2009

The Sublette County Cattlewomen/Cowbelles organization is raffling a beautiful quilt featuring Sublette County brands. The quilt will be raffled at the annual Cattlemen’s Banquet on Saturday, February 28th. Tickets for the quilt raffle are $1.00 each or six for $5. In addition to the quilt, the Cowbelles will have other items for sale at the banquet, including their series of colorful scarves that feature local brands. There’s still time to get your brand on the quilt. Cost is $5 for each brand, and they’ll put on as many brands as you like for $5 each. For more information, contact Laura Marincic at 307-859-8619.

The Cattlewomen/Cowbelles is a non-profit organization which promotes beef and gives scholarships throughout Sublette County. They also give funds to needy causes in Sublette County as well as for Wyoming state causes.

The Cattlemen’s banquet will be held at Rendezvous Pointe on Saturday, February 28th. Cocktails begin at 5:30 pm. Sue Eversull will cater the prime rib dinner. Banquet entertainment is Jesse Smith, a local cowboy poet, and music by The Sundowners band. Tickets always sell out early, and there are no tickets sold at the door. Tickets to the banquet are $35 each and may be purchased by contacting Kari Bousman at 307-537-5222 or e-mailing
