The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow, which is in effect until 5 pm MST Wednesday.
Another Pacific storm system will bring gusty winds and moderate snow to the Upper Green River Basin foothills Tuesday night and Wednesday. The strong wind will combine with freshly fallen snow to create areas of blowing and drifting snow. The blowing snow will create reduced visibility at times. Snowfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches can be expected in the Bondurant area, while the Pinedale and Cora areas will see 1 to 2 inches of new accumulation.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, blowing snow or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities .and use caution while driving.
