'Sound Of Music' Children’s Roles Announced
Local performance of musical by the Pinedale Community Theatre

Valerie Lee, Pinedale Community Theater director announced the casting of the children’s roles for the Sound of Music musical being produced by PCT this November.
"Six of the seven roles have been cast," Valerie said. "We were so pleased at the number of students who tried out for the parts. The decisions were very difficult. Pinedale has a lot of very talented young people!"
Cast in the role of Liesl, aged 16 in the production, is Morgan Holz. Skye Anderson was cast as Louisa, age 13, Gannett Loftus was chosen to play Kurt, age 10. Brigitta, age 9 will be played by Claire Stough and Marta, the 7 year old will be played by Mary Margaret Grassell. The youngest child in the production, Gretl, will be played by McKinley Boulter.
According to Valerie one children’s role remains to be cast, "We are still in search of a young man to play Friedrich. A student, age 11 to 13 with a treble voice, is needed for the role." Please call Barbara Wise at 307-367-2275 if interested. Auditions for Friedrich will be held on Sept. 26 at 4 PM. At the auditorium in the high school. Friedrich call backs will be Sunday, Sept. 28 at 5 PM.
