June 8, 2008
The June edition of the Jonah Interagency Office (JIO) newsletter is now available on the web and at the Jonah Interagency Mitigation and Reclamation Office. The newsletter is a quarterly production that is intended to keep the public, as well as potential project applicants, informed of the agency’s progress.
The June edition of the newsletter discusses the Strategic Plan being developed by the JIO which, when completed, will provide guidance to the JIO in carrying out its mission. Readers will also gain information on specific JIO projects and the progress being made to date. Also included in the newsletter is a list of the projects currently approved for 2008.
The JIO is accepting project applications year-round. To apply for funding, please visit the JIO website at: http://www.wy.blm.gov/jonah_office which provides links to JIO Mitigation Goals and Strategies as well as an on-line application and funded and unfunded projects.
The JIO newsletter provides the information you need to stay informed and current. View it on-line or, to receive a hard copy, you may stop by the JIO office located at the Pinedale BLM Office, 1625 West Pine, Pinedale, Wyo. For more information, please contact Ted Rentmeister at 307-367-5363.
