TU hosts Women’s Beginning Fly Fishing Clinic June 21

On Saturday, June 21st, will host its’ First Annual Women’s Beginning Fly Fishing Clinic. In this six hour class, participants will learn basic casting and fishing techniques as well as obtain information on gear and tackle specific to fly fishing.
After the morning training, female anglers can practice their new found skills in a private pond during the afternoon session. Per TU Member and Clinic Instructor, Mike Kaul,
“This class will be conducted in a relaxed and fun atmosphere teaching ladies how to fly fish with an emphasis on catching trout which inhabit our mountain streams and lakes. The Upper Green River Chapter members will be on hand throughout the day to help with the event and provide one on one instruction.”
The only prerequisite for the class is a one (1) day fishing license (minimum). Class size is limited to twenty (20) ladies so register early! Registration forms are available at Two Rivers Emporium, 211 West Pine Street, Pinedale, WY, or download a registration form at www.wyomingtu.org. There is a twenty ($20) registration fee which covers the six hours of instruction, lunch, and class fly fishing equipment. All participants will be eligible for door prizes, including fishing equipment and other special items!
