The Arambel family has raised domestic sheep in the area
from Rock Springs to Boulder for 100 years.

Based in the summer at the Midland Ranch in the Buckskin/Big Sandy area, the family migrates with the sheep to lower elevations in the winter, residing in Rock Springs while their bands of sheep winter on the Rock Springs Grazing Association.

With a mid-December date looming for turning the bucks in
with the ewes for breeding, Sunday was the day for sorting
and processing bucks near Farson.
