Pinedale Town elected officials to get raises
Go into effect in 2008 and 2010
July 24, 2007
The Pinedale Town Council recently passed ordinances giving raises for the people who serve in the elected positions as Pinedale Mayor and on the Town Council.
Currently, Town Council Persons receive $100 for every regular or special council meeting they attend. Effective June 1, 2008, individuals assuming the office of Council Person on of after that date will receive $150 per regular or special council meeting.
The Mayor’s position currently pays a sum of $1,000 per month. Effective June 1, 2010, the person assuming the office of Pinedale Mayor will receive the sum of $2000 per month.
Since current elected officials cannot vote themselves a pay raise, the increases become effective with the new officials who will be voted into office for the new terms.
