Looking for a job? There are many job openings available in Sublette County doing a wide variety of kinds of work. The best part is, the pay is GREAT! No minimum wage jobs here! If you are looking for work, there are several online sources to help you. Here on Pinedale Online, visit our JOB BOARD for online classifieds. The online versions of our two local newspapers also have classified ad listings. The Sublette Examiner’s are free viewing. You’ll need a subscription to view the online classifieds on the Pinedale Roundup. Our newspapers publish once a week, on Thursdays.
We’ve recently added many new jobs to our Pinedale Online JOB BOARD. Here’s a quick overview:
Pinedale Aquatic Center: The Pinedale Aquatic Center is looking to fill several positions. All pay at least $20/hour: Maintenance/Pool Operations Assistant, Recreation Assistant, Head Lifeguards, Office Assistant.
Sublette County School District #1: Middle School Language Arts Teachers, Speech Pathologist, Maintenance Personnel.
Green River Guest Ranch/The Place: This is a guest ranch located on the way to Green River Lakes. They are looking for a Chef/Cook. Housing options are available.
Newspaper Help: Both our local newspapers, the Pinedale Roundup and the Sublette Examiner, have openings for career-oriented people to help as reporters, photographers, sales associates, and graphic designers. This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to learn more about the newspaper business, working with an established and experienced newspaper company. Career advancement opportunities available, benefits, and some housing possibilities.
RNs, LPNS and CNAs: The Sublette Center is looking for medical professionals to assist at the retirement center. This is a great opportunity to make a difference helping people. The Sublette Center is offering sign on bonuses of between $1000 to $3000! If you aren’t certified, they will pay for you to go to class!
Bank Help: First Bank of Pinedale is looking for help at the bank: Tellers, Real Estate Lender, Credit Analyst. We have a booming economy in our county right now, making this a great opportunity for anyone interested in working in the financial industry.
Counter and Sales Help: Pretty much everyone who owns a store in the county could use more counter and sales help. The pay is very good, much higher than the minimum wage these kinds of jobs typically go for in other places. If you like people and working the cash register, you have your pick of places to work.
Restaurant Help: If you can waitress, cook, or do dishes, you’ll have no trouble finding a job in the local restaurants. Most are looking for help and the pay is good. Some have housing options.
Motel help: Most of our motels can use more help working the front desk, cleaning rooms, doing laundry and maintenance.
Oil & Gas jobs: We get a lot of calls asking about how to find a job in “the oil patch”. This one isn’t as easy, because there is no one central place to go to in order to find out about jobs. There are many companies doing a wide variety of work in this industry. If you are a roustabout, can drive a truck and have a CDL, are willing to work long hours for good pay, there are many jobs available. #1 is you must be able to pass a drug test. Some housing options are available with certain companies – be sure to ask about it. For specific jobs, check our JOB BOARD and the newspaper classifieds. Also, check with the State of Wyoming Job Placement office to find jobs with the bigger companies. You may also have some luck by just calling some of these companies and asking if they have openings. Oil and Gas Companies
