Sublette County Child Care Survey
Conducted by Sublette Community Partnership
by Sublette Community Partnership
March 6, 2007
In order to gauge the need for day-care, preschool services, after school programs and summer time youth programming in the Pinedale area, Jeffrey Jacquet, socio-economic analyst for the Sublette Community Partnership, and Laurie Latta, coordinator for the Partnership, are conducting a survey for the parents of elementary students and pre-schoolers.
The Pinedale schools and local day care providers/facilities will be sending home surveys for parents to fill out and return to the Pinedale schools or the preschool providers by Friday, March 16, 2007.
Several state and multiple county surveys have included information on the issue of child care in Sublette County, but to date no information has been collected relative only to Sublette County.
The information will be used to ascertain if there is a need for more child care, costs families can afford to incur for child care and what needs are in the county for after school care and a summer program.
A similar survey program is planned for the Big Piney/Marbleton area later this spring.
