Non-Resident Deer/Antelope deadline March 15
License application deadline
by Wyoming Game & Fish Department
March 4, 2007

Nonresident hunters are alerted applications for deer and antelope licenses - either by conventional mail or through the Internet - must be received in the Wyoming Game and Fish Department's Cheyenne office no later than 5:00 p.m. Thursday, March 15.

With the possibility of March snowstorms, applicants are urged to conventionally mail their applications soon. Anyone worried about their application arriving by March 15 by regular mail should consider using an express delivery service. Applicants planning to use the Internet are also urged not to procrastinate in case of a service disruption.

Prospective hunters just wishing to purchase a preference point this year and not apply for a license, must wait until this summer (July 1 - Sept. 30). The preference point only period was established to help spread the application processing workload more evenly and give hunters more chance to purchase a point if they missed the earlier application periods.

Hunters needing more applications than in their booklet can make photocopies, call (307) 777-4600 or print one from the Game and Fish Web site at
