Description:Position Overview: Sublette BEEP is seeking qualified substitute educators to join our team for the 2019/2020 school year. These positions are an as needed position when full-time staff can not be at work. Sublette BEEP is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 to 5:15. Shifts could be various hours when we are in operation. Sublette BEEP is an Early Childhood Program that provides a nurturing and safe environment for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.

This position is paid at $13.00 an hour. Sublette BEEP follows the Sublette County School District #1 Staff calendar.

The Substitute Educator supports the daily operations of BEEP classrooms and shares responsibility for the safety, security and education of children. The Substitute Educator is also responsible for assisting classroom educators with implementing any curriculum that is used in the classroom. The Substitute Educator is also expected to work with parents of students and other BOCES Early Education Program (BEEP) staff.

Qualifications & Skills: Coursework and or experience in early childhood education would be preferred. Travel for the position is limited but there are professional development activities that will occasionally require travel. Must deal with confidential information and/or issues in a manner that exhibits good judgement. Applicants must be able to pass a background check.
