Position: Grounds Supervisor
Type: Full-Time
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 annually
Benefits: Full benefits package, Health Savings Account (HSA), and Retirement Plan.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Supervisor to join our team at Rendezvous Meadows Golf Course. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in turf management and a passion for maintaining high-quality golf course conditions. As Grounds Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of course maintenance, ensuring that our 9-hole course remains in pristine condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise grounds crew to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of the golf course.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules for greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.
Conduct regular inspections of the course to assess conditions and identify areas for improvement.
Oversee irrigation systems, pest control, fertilization, and other turf management practices.
Coordinate with the Golf Course Superintendent to plan and execute course projects and improvements.
Maintain equipment and facilities in good working order.
Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Educational Requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Turf Management or a related field.
Experience Requirements:
3-5 years of verifiable experience in golf course maintenance or turf management.
1-3 years of supervisory experience in a similar role.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of turfgrass management, irrigation systems, and landscape maintenance.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in varying weather conditions and handle physical demands of the job.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff and golfers.
