| Description: | 
Cimarex Energy Co., an independent oil and gas exploration and production company, is currently seeking candidates for Gas Plant Manager for a new gas plant under construction in SW Wyoming containing new technology to extract natural gas and crude-grade helium. Applicants must reside (or be willing to relocate) within 50 miles of Big Piney, Wyoming in Sublette County.
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsibilities include employee safety, environmental protection, and equipment maintenance
• Lead a workforce of approx. 25 employees in continuous improvement activities to achieve high plant runtimes
• Assemble the workforce, over the next few months, for plant startup in 3rd Qtr. 2011
Prior Gas Plant Experience: OSHA PSM/EPA RMP programs, H2S Operations, Digital Control Systems (DCS), reciprocating compression, and NRU/Cold box operations preferred
Knowledge/Skills:
• Proficient process troubleshooting skills
• Proactive approach to decision making
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Fully understand P&ID’s
• Air emissions regulations
