The Sublette County and Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is seeking a full-time Legal Secretary/Paralegal. The anticipated start date of the position will be January, 2016. Applicants must have the following qualifications:
Great communication skills
Precise attention to detail
Ability to faithfully preserve confidential information
Excel in team oriented office environment
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Type 50 words per minute
Self-motivated work ethic
Ability to pass a background check
The following qualifications and experience are preferred but not essential for consideration:
3 or more years of experience working within the criminal justice system
Paralegal or Legal Assistant certification
College degree in social services or criminal justice
The Sublette County and Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is a fun, high-energy, professional work-place. The position will be responsible for facilitating the diversion program, working directly with attorneys in their day-to-day tasks including drafting and filing legal documents, calendaring hearings, and general administrative duties. The salary range is $38,957.34 - $54,777.02, depending on education and experience. Position includes medical benefits, Wyoming Retirement, Life Insurance and much more.
