Cook duties are as follows:
• Responsible for sanitary handling and preparation of food for residents and staff
• Follow recipes using daily production sheets
• Meet daily meal schedules
• Serve required portions
• Care for and cleaning equipment in conjunction with the local and State health department regulations
Must have good listening skills to effectively communicate and establish effective working relationships with co-workers and all departments. Must understand and comply with all quality control standards. Expected to deal courteously and in a professional manner with employees, residents, patients, family, visitors and physicians. Some food prep experience preferred, but not necessary. Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
