| Description: | BEEP DIRECTOR
The BEEP Director oversees the daily operations of the Early Childhood Education program at Sublette BOCES and has direct responsibility for the safety, security and education of children and staff in the program. The BEEP Director is also responsible for maintaining licensing, meeting all of the required standards and keeping the program in compliance with all state and federal standards. The director creates policies, manages staff, oversees daily operations and develops a proposed budget for submission to the BOCES Director. The director is the lead administrator of the school and handles problems with staff, students and parents. The director is also charged to develop the curriculum and ensure the school meets any curriculum standards set by law. Other duties include teaching classes as needed, determining spending responsibilities, making admission decisions, collecting fees, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Candidate The minimum education required for this job is a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field such as, child behavior, early childhood curriculum and teaching methods. The position requires a minimum of one year of experience in early childhood education. Two or more years of experience is preferable, along with administrative experience.
Terms: Salary and comprehensive benefits is $45,000 - $65,000 / commensurate with experience
