Pinedale hosted a Midget (high school age) tournament with Rock Springs, Douglas, Riverton and Rawlins

Pinedale Glacier Midgets tournament lasted all weekend.

Others headed for the Pinedale sledding hill to have fun.

Some kids decided to let Mom do all the work.

Even the big kids had fun!

The ice on 11-mile long Fremont Lake is frozen almost up to the inlet.

Folks ice skated, played hockey, and everyone looked down through the ice to see the lake bottom.

Hockey players loved the huge skating rink!

Mom & daughter ice skate out together on the frozen lake.

Fremont Lake freezes clear only once every decade or so. You can see through the ice to the ice chunks below. Fish can be seen swimming below the ice in places.
