CORRECTION TO STATEMENTS ON U.S. SENATE SEAT SELECTION

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Comments that were broadcast in a Wyoming Public Radio report today that were attributed to Brandon Owens, the executive director of the Wyoming Democratic Party, are factually incorrect.

Gov. Dave Freudenthal has not been working with the state Democratic Party to determine who should succeed Sen. Craig Thomas in the U.S. Senate.

The comments attributed to Owens are simply incorrect.
