This fun group of 16
rode the snow where it is - Horse Creek area in the Wyoming Range. We stopped
for this photo up at Gunsight Pass enroute to the Box Y. The trail was groomed
(Thanks, Tim!) but there wasn't much opportunity for off-roading.
We enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Box Y and lots of laughs. We continued
from the Box Y up the road toward the Blind Bull safety shelter. Just before
we reached the shelter, we found the off-roading fun - Hooray!! We rode up
the hill (most made it in one smooth ride) to Igo's cabin. Now we were presented
a choice: return via the trail or cross country. Hmm....we chose to follow
the leader through North Horse Creek. Since the snow depth was low, the sidehills
weren't too bad!
Here we are at the end when we rejoined the trail - we survived! Thanks to
our leaders of that day - we really enjoyed ourselves!
