Gallery The Skyline Drive road winds 17 miles from Pinedale along Fremont Lake to Elkhart Park in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. This is a scenic drive on paved road. Wildlife is often seen: deer, antelope and sometimes elk and moose. The road offers views of Fremont and Half Moon Lakes and the best view around of the Wind River Mountain skyline. |

The Museum of the Mountain Man is a great stop along the way. |

The road is paved the entire 17 miles. Horse trailers and RVs can make this road and there is good turn-around space at the end. The upper stretch is a bit steep and has two U curves on the way. |
